Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Electrical trainee who learns under more senior electrical employee to gain skills and achieve certifications.
  • 24-month apprenticeship program (hourly rate increase every 3 months contingent on skill progression and associated course work)

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding, learning, and gaining skills to use simple hand tools, read simple blueprints and schematics on several different components of the assembly process.
  • Strong willingness to learn electrical processes
  • Classroom trainings are typically required and must be logged timely and accurately.
  • External course work may be requested to continue progression.
  • Flexible to move from area to area to assist with electrical and assembly processes.
  • Assist with electrical wiring process including cutting/stripping/terminating/labeling wires, creating somewhat repetitive harnesses, running cables and wire ties to creating wire management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience – residential wiring experience, ability to read schematics, and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn
