Our client located in Torreys Pines is looking to fill a Materials Management position. This is a great opportunity with a stable company that provides excellent pay and benefits. Contract position. Offering $30-35/hr. DOE. 100% onsite.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete daily inventory transactions
• Perform materials management operations, including receiving, storage, shipment, inventory management, and order processing of all materials for Fate internal and external manufacturing
• Pick and assemble manufacturing kits per batch records and BOM
• Work with the electronic and paper-based inventory system to manage receipt, release, packaging, and shipment of GMP materials
• Adhere to appropriate PPE when picking, packing, and shipping cold and frozen material and products
• Perform disposition of all expired materials and maintain applicable documentation
• Adheres to appropriate PPE and safety rules
• Monitor temperature conditions of refrigerators, freezers, and room temperature storage of cGMP materials
• Collaborate with laboratory and manufacturing personnel to ensure effective management of raw materials supply to support in-house and external manufacturing operations
• Distribute materials and stock inventory for in-house GMP manufacturing, laboratory suites, contract manufacturing organizations, and distribution depots
• Perform equipment maintenance, as necessary

Job Requirements

• Able to work on a collaborative environment
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a regulated materials management environment, preferably in biotech or life sciences
• High School diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Able to adjust to workload on an always changing fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of inventory management systems/ERP
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new applications quickly and easily
