Materials Control Manager Jobs

Day to day responsibilities:

This team supports supply for overseas parts – China/South Africa. Responsible for talking to suppliers on a daily basis, managing exception messages in SAP, and escalation meetings with suppliers. These parts are not delivered to the plant but are delivered to CLIENT Germany and Pennsylvania warehouse locations for CLIENT aftersales. These are all after sales or aftermarket parts. There is some interaction with the plant logistics team but it’s minimum. This team handles current production model aftermarket parts but also responsible for older model parts as well. This team is responsible to make sure there are parts at the CLIENT distribution centers. Any supplier in Canada, US or Mexico this team is responsible for in regards to after sales parts.

WFH: 5 days work from home a month (1 day a week generally), outside of this with management approval needed

Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm ,

Must to have : Experience in Material Planning including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Nice to have: SAP experience, good communication and decision-making skills, supply chain background would all be preferred. Previous automotive experience would be highly preferred. Mandarin/Spanish/German language skills a huge plus but not required.

A) Education:

BA/BS degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business or 4 years equivalent

professional experience in Material Planning including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
