Cycle Counting:

Validate and analyze discrepancies, any errors found during these small incremental counts should result in an adjustment to the inventory accounting records. Also, an investigation into the reasons for each error found should be conducted. The eventual result should be detailed procedures and training with the intention of creating high levels of inventory record accuracy. Some of the counts will have to be performed during weekends.

Excel Skills:

• Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Managing Worksheets, sorting data, generating charts, formatting cells.

Managing Suppliers:

• Every analyst gets a deck of suppliers with 200-to-250-part numbers total, the Analyst follows up with the suppliers daily for shipments, window times changes, schedule changes, etc.
