Material Coordinator - 2Nd Shift

Spacesaver is currently recruiting for a Material Coordinator on 2nd shift.

The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. $1 shift Premium for 2nd shift

Essential Functions

• Operation of fork trucks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment proficiently and safely.
• Receiving inbound materials, moving materials throughout the facility, and lading finished goods for shipment.
• On-time/accurate movement of material, data reporting, completing inventory transactions in the ERP system.

Schedule

• Mandatory OT every other Saturday (12pm-8pm) as needed
• 4 ten hour days, Monday through Thursday (2pm-12am)
• Mandatory OT on Fridays (12pm-8pm) as needed

• Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Solid PC experience, including Microsoft Office applications is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Ability to read tape measures and efficiently operate all other required measuring devices
• 1-3 years of experience operating a fork lift and overhead crane
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to perform weight counts, steel weight conversion of materials
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines
