Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote the company's services. This role requires a strong understanding of the roofing industry and expertise in marketing principles and techniques. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective marketing campaigns, enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support business growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the company's online reputation through review sites and respond to customer feedback and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and target market segments, and use insights to drive marketing initiatives
  • Manage the company's online presence, including website, social media platforms, and online directories, to optimize visibility and engagement with target audiences
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital marketing, print media, tradeshows, and events, to drive brand awareness and generate qualified leads
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from sales and operations to align marketing efforts and support lead generation and conversion
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across various marketing channels and activities
  • Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, videos, and social media content
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance and KPIs, such as website traffic, conversion rates, lead generation, and ROI, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Manage external vendors and agencies, such as graphic designers, photographers, and PR firms, to ensure high-quality deliverables and cost-effective solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices in the roofing industry to identify new opportunities and innovative marketing approaches
  • Cultivate company image in community by representing the company in industry associations and leveraging networking opportunities such as tradeshow participation, sponsorships and presentations
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, such as general contractors, owners, architects, and suppliers, to enhance brand partnerships and collaborations
  • Create and manage the company's brand identity, including brand guidelines, messaging, and positioning, to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Experience developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative marketing strategies and solutions
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve targets and deliver high-quality results
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including social media, content management systems, email marketing tools, and web analytics
  • 7 or more years progressive experience in a Marketing Manager or a similar role within the construction industry; roofing specific experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques, with a focus on digital marketing and lead generation
  • Strong understanding of the roofing industry, including knowledge of target audiences, customer needs, and industry trends
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
