Job Description
Under the general direction of the Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating with other marketers and sales professionals to implement innovative campaigns for branding or product launches. Their duties include creating strategic campaigns, researching target audiences and recording data from campaign results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, digital campaigns, landing pages, flyers, direct mailers, brochures, newsletters and events. Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns to team and vendors. Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, sales opportunities and demographic data. Utilize Animalytixs data and other resources. Provide strategy and tactics to address information uncovered. Create goals and objectives to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels. Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers. Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs. Proof all marketing materials according to the Armor Brand Style Guide Writing Styles and Abbreviations. Collaborate with marketing teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copies. Collaborate with sales and vet teams on marketing strategy and effectiveness. Assist in planning, coordinating and overseeing tradeshows, buying shows and sales training. Develop and manage annual budget needs for marketing campaign success. Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Requires a 4-year degree in marketing, communications or related field. 2+ years' experience in agriculture marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of animal health and agriculture a plus. Language Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, customers, managers, and other employees. Other skills and Abilities: Working knowledge, understanding and interest in livestock production-based agriculture. Knowledge of graphic design and printing preparation including proficient in Microsoft Office, data management, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator programs.
