Our client, a leader in the hospitality industry, is looking for a talented Marketing Planning Manager to join their dynamic Americas Marketing Planning & Performance team!

As the Marketing Planning Manager, you will assume responsibilities for day-to-day marketing planning deliverables and budget management and to help support high-impact strategic decisions. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Planning & Performance, you will use tools, data and trends to develop impactful planning process/approach and recommendations. You will work cross-functionally across the organization supporting leaders and multiple teams. As such, the position will require strong communication skills, financial and analytical capabilities, and the ability to be proficient in the functional expertise of partner teams. Experience and comfortability in mapping out the planning process is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Support annual planning process and develop incremental process improvement proposals supporting Sr Director Marketing Planning & Performance, helping to define planning process, capture key initiatives and communicate out to cross-functional teams.
• Act as a coordinating manager to guide cross-functional teams through planning, including information sharing and decision-making within necessary timeframes.
• Manage Americas Marketing budget process across multiple teams driving consistency and capturing budget forecasts, deliver and publish monthly forecasts to key partners including finance (working, non-working, Travel and Expense, Meeting Expenses).
• Support the preparation of Leadership Team materials, including annual planning, budget proposals and objective performance.
• Build, deliver & support the implementation of new planning processes, tools, and ways of working to help the department be more efficient and clear on accountability and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Consulting or Strategic Planning.
• Strong project management skills.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Marketing

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle competing objectives.
• Five (5) years of professional experience.
• Experience level: Experienced
• Advanced Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
