Marketing Manager Jobs

This role is responsible for:
— Increasing awareness and event attendance by promoting the Girls in Tech brand across its social media platforms.
— Creating and publishing all Girls in Tech content, including articles, event announcements, and interviews, always tying it back to brand messages.
— Creating a communication plan.
— Understanding the value of timing for publication before, during, and after events.
— Drafting a backlog of evergreen articles to publish during slower periods.
— Keeping up with industry news, and being ready to respond to current affairs with comments or stories with a twist.
— Leveraging the industry event calendar created by the PR specialist to organize a schedule for communication, including holidays, memorable dates, etc.
— Publishing updates from HQ regarding international events and messages.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and creative thinking, with experience in digital marketing or journalism. You’ll have a strong interest in writing and meeting new people, and must have experience using Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
