Amazon Fresh is seeking a talented, creative, and innovative leader to support Amazon’s rapidly-growing omni-channel grocery business. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and groundbreaking new initiative at Amazon in its early stages. We are seeking a customer obsessed marketer who can deliver big ideas, has demonstrated successful project ownership, and possesses an ability to identify and prioritize opportunities using data. In this role, you will own production of our weekly circular, one of our largest and complex marketing vehicles to drive traffic to our Amazon Fresh Stores. You will be a key part of the central marketing team and responsible for defining strategy and optimization opportunities within the circular program.


The successful candidate for this role has experience owning cross-functional programs, making data-driven decisions, and influencing others. You must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing development of our weekly circular with third party agency support, analyzing metrics, and solving problems). You are a self-starter and posses strong analytical skills and thrive working among a broad, diverse set of stakeholders. You leverage strong organizational and project management skills and have a track record of delivering quality work. You are comfortable managing ambiguity, and have a passion for testing and scaling learnings beyond your immediate team. You prefer to work smart vs. working hard and lean into mechanisms to make processes more efficient. You are an owner.


You will lead a regular leadership reviews alongside a cross-functional working team of core grocery stakeholders, which will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders. You will monitor performance metrics for your programs to identify opportunity areas, rapidly develop and test your own initiatives.   • This role can be located in SEA, NYC, or Arlington, VA.


Key job responsibilities


  • Coordinates across retail, creative, and marketing to gather inputs and build the circular
  • Owns weekly production of the Amazon Fresh Stores physical circular, including program/process management, creative development, and performance optimization.
  • Send regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership on progress
  • Reports on Circular performance and optimizes content and reach for in-store traffic and sales revenue.


Basic Qualifications


  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
