Position Overview:
As the Chief Marketing Leader at Zena, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive scalable growth and enhance brand presence. You will have complete ownership of the Go-to-market strategy including New product launches, customer acquisition strategy, channel strategy. Reporting to the founder directly, this is a unique opportunity to learn from industry legends, while embracing true entrepreneurship to set your mark on a fast growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct to Consumer experience: Leverage your experience in direct-to-consumer marketing to create personalized and engaging experiences for our customers, driving loyalty and repeat business.
- Business Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient spending to maximize ROI. Deliver business reporting to the board.
- Conversion Optimization and direct response Expertise: Collaborate with the UX/UI teams to optimize conversion rates at various stages of the customer journey, from awareness to conversion. Continuously optimize campaigns and tactics based on metrics and insights to maximize ROI.
- Amazon Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and optimize performance on Amazon, including product listings, advertising, and customer engagement.
- Performance Marketing: Lead the development and execution of customer acquisition strategies across multiple channels, such as digital marketing, content marketing, social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, partnerships, and more.
- New Product Development: Collaborate closely with suppliers to recommend new product ideas. Align marketing initiatives with product roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration of marketing strategies with product launches and enhancements.
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the overall marketing growth strategy aligned with the company's goals, mapped to clear performance KPIs. Leverage Category, Competitive, Brand, Channel, and consumer insights to drive the portfolio forward.
Qualifications:
- Willing to roll ones sleeves to get things set up, specifically on digital marketing end.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing growth strategies that resulted in measurable business outcomes.
- 6+ years of proven experience in marketing and growth roles, preferably in health and nutrition space.
- Exposure to retail (Costco, Walmart) will be preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Hands on experience with a variety of digital marketing channels and tactics, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, affiliate, subscription and partnerships.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and risk. A go-getter.
