Job Description
The Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting projects and activities to promote the Vivistim® Paired VNS Therapy System for Stroke recovery. Duties include supporting corporate marketing initiatives such as content creation, campaign implementation, event planning, and project management.


This role will be a shared resource for the Marketing Department and work closely with Digital Marketing, Professional/Healthcare Provider Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Clinical Departments.


  • Perform complex and confidential administrative functions
  • Assist in the creation of marketing content to promote awareness of business activities (i.e., newsletters, presentations, product brochures, proposals, etc.)
  • Maintain department records (i.e., Sunshine Act data, contracts, leads/CRM/marketing automation data, copy clearance, etc.)
  • Help develop and create necessary tools, guides, and materials for patients, customers and the sales force
  • Coordinate marketing projects, including their budgets, timelines, and vendors.
  • Monitor, track, and report on metrics and KPIs
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, utilizing resources efficiently and effectively taking responsibility for own learning needs
  • Anticipate the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Organize event calendar and event related projects
  • Support marketing programs and promotional activities (traditional and digital)
  • Support the development of corporate and product brands, marketing programs and collateral material
  • Maintain current documents and managing strict version control
  • Attend and provide on-site, hands-on management at local, regional, and national meetings
  • Organize and traffic projects
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing, social media and PR content (i.e., concept development, copy writing, material collection)
  • Participate in quality control/assurance related activities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contacts for successful execution of events
  • Help plan, coordinate and facilitate experiential marketing programs (i.e., events, meetings, training courses, etc.)
  • Maintain and monitor marketing material and promotional product inventory, ordering and fulfillment process with vendor
  • Communicate the needs and requirements of the sales force with other departments


Requirements


  • Previous experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Marketing Automation and CRM a plus
  • Comfortable connecting with customers and establishing relationships by phone
  • 2+ years Marketing experience
  • Four (4) year university degree required.
  • 2+ years in customer facing role(s)
  • Well organized and able to balance numerous projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Additional startup or small company experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20%
  • Able to operate independently as well as work within a cross-functional, geographically distributed team
  • Customer-oriented mindset; friendly
  • Previous experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of customer records
  • Permanent Work Authorization required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous work experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare space
  • Possesses excellent communication, presentation, influence/selling skills
