What does a Manufacturing Associate do at Rinnai?

Safely and efficiently perform assigned duties, producing defect free product. Facilitate movement of material and assure perfect product quality.


  • Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • This position is located at 500 The Lakes Parkway in Griffin, GA.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday


What You Will Do


  • Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include, but not limited to, production line equipment, forklifts, or other power equipment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S).
  • Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards. Ability to inspect your own work as well as that of other associates.
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with Company Safety Policy.
  • Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement ideas.


Requirements

KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Continuous improvement knowledge (preferred)


SKILLS


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to learn and rotate through all production and support roles
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to operate hand tools efficiently
  • Ability to connect wire harnesses efficiently


ABILITIES


  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
  • Flexible work hours to account for over time as needed
  • Ability to bend and squat
  • Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Work cooperatively within a team environment

  • Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools


Physical Demands

  • Occasionally moving objects up to 75 lbs.
