Position Summary
Job Purpose Statement
Operates a variety of production equipment, assembles various components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Perform assigned duties in conformance with established production standards and following established work instruction.
- Responsible for maintaining quality of work utilizing judgement, measuring devices and gauges.
- Assemble various components into completed or partially completed products or assemblies, utilizing fixtures, riveters, potting equipment, and various other production equipment.
- Required to provide continue training to all employees.
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED): one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, work orders, procedures, prints, and short correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with engineers, managers, and other associates to share information and help to solve problems.
Mathematical Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: Computer skills including MS Word and Excel preferred. May require climbing ladders.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and comes in contact with water or liquids. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
