Role: Manufacturing Engineer 4

Location: Hodges, SC

Duration: 12+ months contract with extensions

Position’s Contributions to Work Group

The production and safety manufacturing engineer is responsible for evaluation, designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures, equipment involved in the manufacturing process. Their duties included defining the process and, determining the electrical and mechanical needs to make the improvements, working with contractors, suppliers, vendors, area owners, maintenance, and others to resolve the needs. Provide detailed documentation of the process, designing improvements to the overall process, validating new systems for efficiency and planning/maintaining factory layouts to optimize production.

Typical Day

Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to manufacturing performance & cost of core make. Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.

Work with technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff, or other engineers. Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing. Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures.; will be working every other weekend- overtime required as needed.

Education Requirements:

Strong Mechanical and Electrical in an Industrial Production Setting is preferred.

Technical Skills

1. Creo and AutoCAD

2. Industrial Design

3. Mechanical Design

5. Ability to work well under pressure

6. Good information technology skills

7. Commercial awareness

8. Knowledge of equipment for purchase, installation, and repair

9. Sand core making process for sand castings

Compensation

This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $40- $45/hr (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
