Job Description
Overview:
Are you a purpose-driven Manual Tester who is seeking to join Dreamers, Drivers, and Doers who serve the Veterans that have protected our Freedom?

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Federal and contractor resources to conduct User Acceptance Testing
  • Define Level of effort for building test cases
  • Develop functional testing scenarios as well as detailed functional test cases
  • Respond to developers' questions regarding test results, bugs and defects
  • Assist test lead/manager to define and refine functional testing approaches, tools, automation and documentation
  • Review and generate complex test plans, generate test case data, build procedures and testing scripts based upon functional specifications
  • Maintain DSTRs
  • Interact with Federal and contractor functional leads to clarify requirements and scenarios
  • Execute test cases, coordinate and execute tests, log and validate defects, debug and document
  • Manage project deadlines, as well as your time and schedule in a fast-paced federal environment
  • Communicate frequently with customers and team members, facilitating discussions an exercising professional judgment as required
Qualifications:
  • Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, MS-Access
  • Intermediate understanding and experience with Unix and Windows
  • Jira/VersionOne expertise (requirements tool of some sort)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Momentum expert, with functional and technical knowledge of the application including experience with large, complex Momentum implementations (Nice to have)
  • Strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills
  • 5 years of IT Industry experience (Required)
  • Experience in testing Java, .Net, Web, SOA, ETL based applications
  • Exposure to multiple SDLC models like Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile models
  • Having some level Java development experience
  • Prepare test data for various test cases/scenarios
  • Experience with Momentum functional and technical systems testing (Nice to have)
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Ability to read and understand Functional, Technical architecture design documents and analyze test requirements
  • Experience in creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, test procedures, test design, record defects, requirements traceability and test execution
  • Experience working with and understanding User Stories
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study
Clearance:
  • The ability to pass a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI)
