We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Director of Logistics Operations to join CCH, our logistics company based in Hawaii.. The ideal candidate will have an Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record in logistics management and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our logistics business. They will bring exceptional leadership and communications skills to positively impact the day-to-day operations of the company. This leader will oversee the distribution, warehousing and transportation of goods to/from the client and contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice, logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to deliver on financial success, operational excellence, and ultimately our mission to positively impact the lives of our worker-owners.


Requirements


  • Proficiency in logistics software and technology
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work at the specific location required and flexibility to respond to business needs
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of 3PL market changes and forces that can influence the company
  • Must have a valid US driver's license
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, OnTime 360, Google Workspace, and Office 365 is preferred
  • Hands on experience in developing strategic and business plans
  • Experience working at a start-up is a plus
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, including at least 5 years at a director level
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have a passion for economic equity
  • 5+ years of experience in international logistics including import, export, and trade compliance for shipments in US or between non-US countries
  • Strong Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range Disclaimer


The base salary range ($90,000-$120,000) represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, net disposable income, and performance. The range listed is one component of Obran’s total compensation package for employees/members. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Cooperative Membership, an open Paid Time Off policy.
