Job Description

Our client who are a national real estate and development company is seeking an exceptional Managing Director of Development to establish the Data Center development across the USA. Position: Managing Director of Development- Data Centers

Location: Atlanta, Georgia


Role Overview:

As the Managing Director of Development, you will be the driving force behind their national data center/ mission critical projects. Your extensive experience in construction, mission-critical facilities, and data centers will be instrumental in guiding developments from concept to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure that projects align with the company's vision and goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the business to the data center community including brokers and other business stakeholders
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to our development team, setting clear goals and strategies to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into our projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Project Management: Oversee deal sourcing, development, construction, and management of operations, and deal exits.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of construction methodologies, mission-critical infrastructure, and data center development to guide project planning and execution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Real estate, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A proven track record of at least 15 years in real estate development, with specific experience in construction, mission-critical facilities, and/or data centers.
