Position Overview:

As a Managing Director, you will join the senior leadership of WGA Advisors, responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive client success and deliver significant business impact. You will work closely with clients, leveraging your industry knowledge, business acumen, and consulting expertise to develop innovative solutions and lead high-performing teams.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Client Engagement:

- Engage with senior executives and C-suite leaders to understand their strategic challenges and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring the delivery of exceptional value and results.

- Provide thought leadership, guidance, and strategic insights to clients, drawing from your deep understanding of industry dynamics, emerging trends, and best practices.


2. Strategic Leadership:

- Lead and oversee complex consulting engagements, guiding project teams in problem-solving, analysis, and strategy development.

- Develop and communicate clear, actionable recommendations to clients, supported by robust data analysis and insights.

- Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives, working collaboratively with client teams to ensure successful execution and measurable impact.


3. Team Management and Development:

- Build and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to consultants, managers, and other team members.

- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning, promoting the professional growth and development of team members.

- Support the recruitment and talent acquisition process, actively participating in interviews and contributing to the assessment and selection of candidates.


4. Business Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and expertise to generate leads and win new client engagements.

- Collaborate with firm leadership to develop business strategies, contribute to proposal development, and negotiate contracts with clients.

- Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of intellectual property, frameworks, and methodologies, enhancing the firm's reputation and capabilities.


Qualifications and Skills:


- At least 10 years of experience in the Strategy or Management Consulting industry, with a proven track record of success in a partner-level role at a recognized competitor firm.

- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable institution.

- Deep industry knowledge and expertise in a specific sector, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics, trends, and best practices.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives, drive business transformation, and deliver impactful results for clients.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges, synthesize information, and develop innovative solutions.

- Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of effectively managing and leading high-performing teams.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving change and transformation in organizations.

- Proven business development and client relationship management skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities, generate leads, and win new client engagements.

- Strong project and program management abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.


COMPENSATION:

Base Salary: $539,100-$1,160,480/year (DOE)

Annual Performance Bonus: Comprised of Cash, Profit Sharing, and Ownership Equity/Stock
