About This Role


As a member of the Global Total Rewards team, the Manager, Total Rewards & People Operations role will be responsible for leading, shaping, and scaling key total rewards and operational processes. This includes managing the systems, structure, and team needed to support compensation and benefits, HRIS management, and employment law compliance at a rapidly growing company. Additionally, this role will drive the execution of strategic initiatives to continuously improve processes across the employee life cycle such as employee onboarding and offboarding, HRIS system integration, benefits selection, compensation reviews, policy and procedure administration, and more.


What You Will Do


Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000


Total Rewards


  • Oversee the administration of complex leave administration and benefits issues.
  • Oversee the administration of the annual benefit programs, including open enrollment process for the US, and conduct/assist in internal and external audits and discrimination testing.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking and partner with brokers to propose, implement, and maintain competitive and cost-effective US and international benefit programs including Wellness programs and 401(K).
  • Provide guidance to the People team and management on pay decisions, pay transparency regulations and pay best practices.
  • Manage the implementation and administration of Flare's global compensation programs as well as U.S. health and welfare programs, defined contribution benefit plans, and other total rewards related programs.


People Operations


  • Implement people programs and/or processes to improve the way the People Operations team supports the business at scale.
  • Identify gaps and implement solutions that improve our internal practices and the employee experience with an emphasis on leveraging technology and driving automation.
  • Manage the delivery of several core HR processes and responsibilities across the employee life cycle (onboarding/offboarding).

Experience


  • Experience working across HRIS platforms; Rippling and/or Workday experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR or related fields with 3+ years of experience leading multiple people operation functions, including comp & benefits administration, HRIS management, I-9 management, onboarding/offboarding, workers’ compensation, and employment leave practices.
  • Strong knowledge of employment, wage, and salary laws, practices, and regulations across multiple states and at the US federal level.
  • Experience building, improving, and scaling total rewards and people operations processes from the ground up.
  • Proficient with EEO, ADA, Family Leave and other regulations regarding employment and employee welfare.
  • HRIS migration/implementation experience preferred.
