Job responsibilities:
This remote position within the Health Plan will manage and coordinate the specialty pharmacy program, including formulary and utilization management, relationships with specialty pharmacies, reporting, outcomes assessment, regulatory requirements, and network pricing management.
This position will report to the Director Clinical Pharmacy and will require close collaboration with other management in the pharmacy department, as well as coordination with the overall Comprehensive Health Solutions team.
The Manager Specialty Pharmacy will work with the Director of Clinical Pharmacy to provide input and implement a strategic plan for clinical pharmacy services around specialty medications. This includes maintenance of current clinical programs, and also identifying and implementing innovative clinical programs to decrease the total cost of care for our members. This position will also be required to manage the specialty pipeline, forecasting, and manage specialty pricing.
Job requirements:
- Required: Pharmacist- 5 years- Managed Care- 3 years; Management- 1 year (preferred)
- Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Required: Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $142,438.40 - $196,560.00 annually.
