Manager, Sourcing & Procurement Jobs

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Manager, Sourcing and Procurement to join our Shared Services team.

About The Role
You will develop and manage end-to-end strategic sourcing categories while building trusted relationships throughout the company. Taking a role on high-priority supplier negotiations ensuring and managing measurable impact on Oscar’s bottom line.
You will report to the Director, Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management. This is a hybrid role. You will work part of the time in the NYC office and part of the time work-from-home/remote.
The base pay for this role is: $108,000 - $141,750 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities

• Implement the review of cost-saving opportunities with Executive Sponsors, Business Leads and Finance
• In collaboration with the partners, identify the our requirements to be included in contract documentation
• Facilitate escalation and dispute resolution activities with our vendors and coordinate vendor IT integration and access deliverables
• Develop and monitor spend reporting with Finance and Business Leads
• Be a first contact in the contract drafting process, in collaboration with Legal
• Complete contract negotiations (including contract drafting) with vendors and Legal
• Support Executive Sponsor and Business Lead, as requested, on vendor communications including meetings, reports, QBR/MBR.
• Help develop P2P Policy CLM documentation and audits
• Capture content for contract management databases (termination, spend, compliance, and unit pricing)
• Work directly with Business Leads on vendor SLA reporting and adherence; support any remediation efforts
• Conduct market research to support RFPs and participate in bidding (RFx)
• Work with Business Leads to capture and review vendor SLAs
• Be a Category Manager for Insurance Operations, Delegate Vendor and possible other Procurement categories.
• Complete vendor terminations and assist with decommissioning efforts,

Qualifications

• 6+ Years Sourcing and Procurement Experience
• Demonstrated ability to generate cost savings and cost avoidance

Bonus Points

• Understand, organize and communicate complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences
• Familiarity with and comfort of using procurement software (e.g. ZIP)
• Adaptable and efficient in a constantly evolving environment
• Bachelor’s degree

Pay Transparency
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
