Manager, Fashion Sample Closet
About the Job
CHANEL is looking for a Fashion Manager to join our Fashion Retail Operations Team. You will manage the strategic oversight and overall inventory accuracy of all retail fashion samples. This is a cross divisional partnership which relies heavily on strong relations with multiple teams throughout the organization. Your operational and collaborative efforts will support collection launches, image driving exposure, internal trainings as well as servicing needs of internal clients.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
  • Act as key liaison between various teams requiring samples
  • Oversee all sample loans, cycle counts, and yearly physical inventory
  • Implement inventory management technology to support with retail sample movement and logistics
  • Ensure Audit Compliance an all Processes and Retail Sample Inventory
  • Drive and evolve loan program for internal clients
  • Support three Division Image and brand moments
  • Drive strong relations with USPR, International PR, and Global showrooms

What you will bring to the team:
  • In-store retail experience
  • Drive to follow through and provide service
  • Shipping and receiving experience with various service providers
  • Proficiency with MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • An eye for style
  • Inventory management skills
  • Showroom/PR experience (including knowledge of Fashion GPS) a plus but not necessary.
  • A passion for organization, order, compliance
Position Logistics:
  • Proficiency with MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Based in NY at 9W
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds (max)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail experience
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,200 through $100,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
