About the Role:
The Feeds team is responsible to optimize client’s feeds, improve data quality, ensure compliance with channel requirements, and ultimately accountable to drive better results for our clients. As more and more media and content is powered by product feeds and other feed-based sources, the need to build and develop this practice is growing in size and importance for Ovative and our clients. This is a fast-paced role working across the majority of Ovative’s clients and with the ability to shape and influence the direction and performance of the team.
The ideal candidate proves a dedication to both internal and client teams, attention to detail, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be self-directed and comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders with curiosity, passion, and expertise. Their role is pivotal in helping Ovative expand our distinctive offerings and position in the market as a data and technology leader, which serves as a central part of our value proposition.
Responsibilities of a Product Feeds Manager:
Feed management & optimization:
  • Guide, manage, and QA optimization and management of client feeds across all paid channels
  • Feed testing and optimization strategy, with a customer first mindset
  • Strategy and feed optimization planning, integrated with all Ovative paid channel teams
  • Custom analysis, reporting and insights that can scale across channels
  • Leveraging Feedonomics and other technology as required to support feeds for clients
  • Actively identify new test and learn opportunities within feed marketing to build on expertise and unlock new capabilities
Client relationship management:
  • Developing and delivering client communication to demonstrate strong feed marketing expertise
  • Proactive feed optimization and testing across priority accounts in partnership with client account teams and client contacts
  • Escalation point to support client teams when feed issues arise
Partner relationship management:
  • Own, manage and grow the overall relationship and performance of Feedonomics and other feed partners
  • Effectively manage partner relationship and establish trust and credibility
  • Lead day-to-day management of client feed optimization programs
  • Clearly defining optimization and testing objectives and KPIs, and accountability with strategic partners
  • Effectively influence partners to evolve strategies and capabilities to help Ovative bring a differentiated approach to feed marketing
Team leadership and employee development:
  • Support higher level, cross-functional marketing strategy projects by providing deep subject matter expertise
  • Cross-functional strategy & thought leadership:
  • Inspire your team and direct reports to reach their quarterly, annual, and long-term goals
  • Act as a subject matter expert for feed strategies by continually evolving Ovative’s approach to best practices; vetting and partnering with new technology companies; managing planning and execution tools, and staying on top of emerging trends
  • Educate the team on feed best practices and troubleshooting to increase the team’s knowledge on feed marketing
  • Recruit, train and manage new Ovative team members
  • Foster a culture of open communication and 360-degree feedback
  • Develop and drive forward multi-channel feed strategies and roadmaps aligned with client program growth goals
Requirements:
  • Experience managing and optimizing product data (data feeds) for advertising channels such as Google Shopping, Meta, Microsoft, and others
  • Experience leading and managing a team of functional experts
  • Exceptional communication skills, with positive, collaborative attitude
  • Experience working in Google Merchant Center for feed suspension resolution and feed management
  • Experience working in a marketing agency setting
  • Familiarity with Google Developer tools and other media platform (meta, etc.) developer tools, like APIs
  • Experience auditing and building product feeds, including transforming, modifying, sorting and filtering large quantities of product data into optimized product listings (familiarity with RegEx methods)
  • 3+ years experience with Feed Management platforms like Feedonomics, Channel Advisor, CommerceHub, etc.
  • Experience designing and executing product feed-based optimization testing (product titles, images, custom labels, etc.)
Pay Transparency:
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $79,000 to $132,000, which is inclusive of a 20% bonus.
