Groundworks seeks a world class Manager of Inventory Analytics to be a key leader supporting the Supply Chain department and partnering with Corporate functions. The Manager of Inventory Analytics will be responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory analytics operations for Groundworks. This position will work closely with the supply chain management team to develop and implement inventory management strategies that ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs. The Manager of Inventory Analytics will also be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements. This position will be on-site in Virginia Beach, VA.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies and reporting that support the supply chain operations of the company
  • Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing and sales, to ensure that inventory levels align with customer demand
  • Work with IT to maintain and improve the inventory management system and other inventory-related tools
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on inventory management strategies and opportunities for process improvements
  • Manage the inventory budget and forecast inventory costs
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks
  • Work with the supply chain management team to develop and monitor inventory metrics, including safety stock, in stock rates, and inventory accuracy
  • Develop and maintain inventory dashboards and reports that provide visibility into inventory performance
  • Manage and oversee the inventory analytics team to ensure timely and accurate inventory analysis
Qualifications
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, analytics, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills is necessary
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools. Experience in Business Central a plus
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
