Position Summary

The Chamber Foundation seeks a program manager to help us develop an innovation hub dedicated to building solutions to societal problems. The successful candidate is a mission-driven, detail-oriented generalist with broad interests who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Foundation Fellows program on a day-to-day basis in line with the approved operational plan.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for business-led solutions to societal problems.
• Support team-wide administration and operations duties as needed.
• Project Management
• Research & Development
• Contribute to the development or refinement of innovation processes deployed within the Foundation.
• Manage the Foundation Fellows program on a day-to-day basis in line with the approved operational plan.
• Provide ongoing project management support for pilots or other initiatives developed within the incubator.
• Operations
• Monitor developments in assigned topical area(s) to develop deep knowledge about emerging issues of interest to the Foundation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in policy research, project management, or program development. Academic or professional background in science, technology, or international relations is a plus.
• Out-of-the-box thinker who has proven experience contributing to the development of new processes during a time of strategic change.
• Evidence of interest in and working knowledge of geopolitics, economics, or exotic technologies.
• Experience with data analysis or visualization platforms is a plus.
• Excellent writer and editor with a high level of comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary commensurate with experience.
