• This position will work with all levels of various departments to create viable business cases for large scale capital projects prior to presenting/championing these projects to senior management for approval.
• This job is a member of the Financial Planning Team within the Finance Division

What You'll Do

• Coordination of the annual capital plan, working with Investor Relations to ensure proper guidance to investors and track capital investments throughout the year, and ensuring all corporate governance and capitalization rules are followed
• Perform periodic lookbacks of previously approved capital projects to drive accountability
• The Manager analyzes, reviews, and presents capital requests to the CFO on a weekly basis, and provides project management support as needed
• Lead tracking of Company-wide return on investment efforts

All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in finance and/or accounting or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• MBA or Master's in Finance/Accounting
• Experience with discounted cash flow models, forecasting, and financial analysis

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to negotiate and communicate proficiently with all levels of management
• Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
• Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
• Adaptability and flexibility in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issues
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis preferred Airline/travel industry and/or financial analysis/accounting experience preferred
• Strong PC skills, especially with MS Excel and Access
