Manager, Demand Planning Jobs

The Demand Planning Manager position is responsible for management of all company demand and timely fulfillment. This role also provides major input into the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities associated with customers and products. Previous experience in inventory, production planning, and supply chain as well as knowledge of process improvement and future fulfillment strategies is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise demand planning team
• Develop demand plan based on business trends and demand patterns
• Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans
• Refine business systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer needs
• Maintain demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy
• Analyze and troubleshoot demand related issues in a timely and accurate manner
• Work with team to plan, coordinate and execute demand planning activities
• Develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports for management
• Improve relationships among operations, sales, programs, and finance, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company
• Coordinate with supply chain to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
• Execute with excellence in the area of customer replenishment and provide feedback to management showing the opportunities and risks regarding customer replenishment performance metrics
• Work with management, finance, supply chain and sales teams in creating and maintaining the corporate S&OP process

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in Demand Planning
• 3+ years of experience working in a Management role
• Basic knowledge of budgetary process
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
• Experienced with enterprise-level software packages including ERP, MRP, DRP, Windows, and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $76,000 to $104,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
