Management Consulting L&D Specialist/Head of Learning andProfessional Development (PD) - MBB experience required!


About the role:

Our client, a woman-led management consulting firm, is looking for an experienced L&D Specialist or Head of PD to be an integral part of their innovative and growing organization. This position will manage all People Operations related to professional development, performance management and related employee/consultant experience and engagement. This key member of the Leadership team will report to and collaborate directly with the CEO in helping shape the experience of their people at the firm.

People are critical to the success and ability of the firm to scale and deliver high quality work. Our client cares deeply about their unique working model for strategic consulting. The Head PD will partner with the CEO and Leadership to grow and scale aligned with their mission, vision and values. This role is ideal for a high EQ, results-oriented, mission-driven leader who is eager to take the next step in their career.


PD Responsibilities:

*Manage the evaluation and feedback including reviews and evaluation processes (e.g. semi-annual reviews, upward feedback systems, candidate diligence, post-engagement surveys) in close cooperation with the leadership


*Be responsible for managing a full range of professional development activities on a daily basis. This will be done in collaboration with the CEO and leads.


*Serve as an adviser and sounding board for community building as a team (activities), as well as provide analysis on individual-specific data for training and reporting purposes


*Help enable better decision making on both tactical (e.g. effective and efficient just in time coaching and training) and strategic (e.g. longer term sector strategy and people initiatives) levels


*Develop and coach individuals and facilitate their professional development


*Work with each consultant to build a trust-based relationship which includes an in-depth understanding of professional aspirations, experiences, strengths, development needs and relevant personal circumstances


Learning Responsibilities:

*Work with firm leadership to ensure learning programs are planned and implemented successfully


*Understand learning needs and objectives of different cohorts


*Be actively involved in running the new hire induction


*Coordinate internal requirements for specific training programs.


*Run learning academy


*Run learning roundtables


*Run peer coaching program


Who You'll Work With:

*You will be working closely with firm founder and CEO as well as managing directors and principals


Requirements:

*Prior L&D experience at MBB

*Focus on execution and relationships rather than strategy and design


Compensation and working arrangement:

*Up to $75/hour

*Fully remote, 20 hours/week
