Job Description

About Brooks International:

Brooks International, recently awarded Consulting Magazine’s Best Firms to Work For 2022, is seeking individuals with a proven track record of success to join our award-winning, Global Professional Services Firm. Founded in 1960, we are intimately known by Private Equity, Global 2000 CEOs and Privately Held Chairs as a unique Executive Services company and remain unmatched in the marketplace. As a profit-motivated firm that serves the direct and focused interest of the client CEO, we specifically deliver to our client’s strategic imperatives, delivering rapidly executed business and financial possibilities. Moreover, our approach integrates both tactical and behavioral step change upgrades. All business benefits generated incorporate organizational considerations, which are behaviorally sustainable and deliver accelerated and extraordinary short and long term profit value.

Position Overview:

Consultants will operate as part of the engagement team, typically consisting of a team of 5-7 consultants, led by an Engagement Manager. Responsibilities include:

  • Working directly with clients on site, ranging from the C-Suite to front-line workers, and taking ownership of a specific “area” of the overall transformation.
  • Driving the day-to-day execution and success of large-scale transformations, directly sponsored by the Client CEO.
  • Delivering transformational requirements within your area by role-modeling, coaching and directly influencing alongside your clients, driving success and optimized performance.
  • Applying a proven, methodology-driven approach that focuses on optimization, execution and implementation.

Consultants at Brooks International are exposed to multiple areas within business across every industry, gaining global experience across leading Public and Private client companies. When joining Brooks International as a Consultant, you are joining a firm that prides itself in developing its employees as the next generation of business leaders.

Recruitment Process and Position Location:

Please apply for the Consultant role through LinkedIn if you would like an opportunity to be invited to an upcoming live virtual recruitment event. These events have limited capacity to ensure that all attendees have an opportunity to participate in a live Q&A with the CEO and a one-on-one interview with a Brooks International executive. These events are designed as the first step in the Talent Acquisition process. There is flexibility in the location of the role as Consultants work directly on the client site. Therefore, weekly travel is required but relocation is not.

Career Progression, Compensation and Talent Development:

Brooks International distinctly offers an accelerated, transparent career path with employee training/talent development, competency development/certification and performance management as the linchpin of career progression. The positions and expected tenure within each are as follows:

Consultant (Implementation Specialist I):

Expected Total Compensation: Commensurate

Expected Position Tenure: 1-2 Engagement Cycles (6-12 months)

Implementation Specialist II:

Expected Total Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000

Expected Position Tenure: 2-3 Engagement Cycles (12 months)

Senior Implementation Specialist:

Expected Total Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000

Expected Position Tenure: 2-3 Engagement Cycles (12 months)

Engagement Manager:

Expected Total Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000

Expected Position Tenure: 3-4 Engagement Cycles (18 months)

Managing Partner:

Expected Total Compensation: $250,000 - $500,000+

Expected Position Tenure: Unlimited

Brooks International recruits at all levels of the career path above. The Talent Acquisition process is designed to evaluate a successful candidate’s background, experience and skillset to determine the appropriate entry point along the career path and associated compensation.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Currently hold a US passport, or the ability to obtain one prior to your start date
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • The following personal attributes: intellectual curiosity, a passion for business leadership, a positive attitude and belief in what’s possible, unwavering self-discipline, commitment to mission and the inherent urge to do what’s right.
  • 2-8 years of consistent and demonstrated success in a rigorous management role in one of the following areas: Manufacturing, Production, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Program/Project Management and Engineering
  • The legal right to work full time in the United States without the requirement of sponsorship by either a company or third party
  • The ability and commitment to: maintain professionalism at all times, work under pressure while achieving the highest level of quality, seek direction and improve all skills required for the role and rapid professional development.
  • The desire to travel and work directly on the client site each week (paid travel, lodging, transportation, meals, cellular etc.)

The positions above offer a lucrative compensation package consisting of a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus and a comprehensive benefit package, including employer funded health, vision and dental benefits, life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k) savings plan and paid time off.
