Managed Services It Support Technician

Established IT support company needs experienced (2 years +) MSP tech for mix of help desk, hosted server and client-site infrastructure and support services. We seek applicants with managed services backgrounds. Amount of experience dependent on what your specific experience is and how closely aligned it is with our needs. The support area is Baltimore -- DC corridor and our primary support office is Columbia MD.

You have administrative and support experience with Microsoft and MS Hyper-V environments, Active Directory, MS Office 365 online admin, and major business applications such as QuickBooks, Adobe DS and other Adobe subscriptions, MS Office apps, Time Slips, Smart Advocate, and other commonly used programs in the professional services business groups (accountants, attorney, consultants, non-profits, etc.)

You have a thorough understanding of networking, network components, and the ability to trouble shoot and resolve network issues for customers in both structured and unstructured environments. You understand and can configure VPN tunnels using standard and conventional protocols. You can support virtualized RDP environments for end users. You have good communications skills.

You can go to the customer office or site and support or maintain workstations, servers and other equipment. You are comfortable talking to business owners about work needing to be done or work completed and convey confidence in you and the company doing so.
