Maintenance Technician Jobs

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the various tasks associated with grounds and building maintenance /or repair. This role performs all aspects of property maintenance such as preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance. An individual in this role must be able to complete work order forms and assignments within our work order system, take direction on tasks, remain organized, and be able to communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and vendors.

• Repair or maintenance associated with, but not limited to, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, HVAC and grounds maintenance
• Ensure the cleanliness and curb appeal of all facility grounds.
• Other duties and tasks, as assigned based upon Company need(s)
• Maintain accurate inspections of all facility material handling equipment.
• Recommends measures to improve methods of operation, performance, safety and quality of service.
• Maintain all supply rooms, maintenance office and facility warehouse in an orderly fashion and in compliance with health and safety regulations and assist the supervisor or manager on special maintenance projects and assignments.
• Serve as on-call for evening, weekend and holiday emergency maintenance and after-hours scheduled work.

Required Skills

• Ability and willingness to take direction and follow through as directed.
• Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must take on all tasks with a friendly, “can-do” attitude.
• Maintenance knowledge is imperative along with the capability to access health and safety requirements.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Recent, verifiable, property maintenance experience
