Summary
Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Maintenance Team as our Painter, focusing on painting, wallpaper, and finishes! This Engineer 3 will support “A Seattle Collection”, a multi-property cluster comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle.
Our Painter will be responsible primarily for general painting-related projects and assignments including wallpaper, and finishes. Additional knowledge in the area of tile and drywall is preferred! This position will perform repairs and preventative maintenance in public spaces, back of house areas, and guest rooms. Candidates should have a minimum of (3) years of painting experience. As part of the Maintenance/Facilities team, candidates should have basic troubleshooting skills involving electricity, plumbing, etc. Good communication skills are necessary for this role.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.25. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for four years, which is $27.80.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 3 years painting experience
- Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
- Must be a team player but able to work independently as well
- Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
