The maintenance manager will be responsible for Maintenance Department scheduling, meeting Key Indicators, ensuring accuracy of PM compliance - scheduling weekly equipment repairs/improvements during ALL available windows of opportunity. In addition, the Maintenance Supervisor will maintain the computer-based PM program (COGZ) keeping the data current and providing for accuracy of the parts/tool crib. Weekly updates and continued communication with the Leadership Team and Peers is critical.
A Few Essential Functions But Not Limited To
- Develops, manages, and communicates the capital projects assigned to the plant.
- Completes information regarding capital and expense related projects to include timeline, staffing allocations, costs, and closure, supporting the Corporate Engineering Manager.
- Provides engineering technical assistance to the technical, operations and sanitation teams.
- Assist the Corporate Engineer, Plant Manager and/or Senior Management in the management of the major companywide capital projects.
- Provides technical assistance and direction in process improvement initiatives and the analysis of the various manufacturing systems such as ovens, proofers, refrigeration system, and utility
systems.
- If needed will assist the Plant Manager and/or Senior Management with the vender selection
competitive bidding process, developing performance warranties and Factory Acceptance Tests
(FAT's) documents as well as TBO SOP's.
- Ensure housekeeping in all equipment and inventory storage areas.
- Provide the leadership in identifying cost savings opportunities in the current manufacturing
- Manage the idle assets located at the plant.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance managing/supervising role
- Must have food production background or similar
- Proven ability to train and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth
