Overview:

Purpose:
  • Manage maintenance projects through coordination with area supervisors and engineering to meet our maintenance contractual requirements.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance technical support for all machinery and equipment at the facility.

Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Work with Engineering and operations to create and facilitate repairs, PM's and PDm's.
  • Plan, manage and execute all required equipment installation activities.
  • Enforce plant safety standards and ensure all maintenance staff adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor supervisors and craft personnel.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance at the Hanover facility.
  • Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities and budget accordingly.
  • Supervise, lead and mentor a team of supervisors and technical craft personnel to inspect, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment, grounds and facilities, per contract requirements.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Schedule all repairs and evaluate all repair estimates.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
  • POC for maintenance audits at the Hanover facility.

Basic Qualifications:
Required Education: High School Diploma/GED

Years and area of experience (required for the role):
5+ years experience in a maintenance management role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities, machines and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Experience in a union facility preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
