Maintenance And Repair Technician 1St Shift

Haynes International is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electronic Maintenance and Repair Technician for our Wire Production Plant located in Mountain Home, NC.
The ideal candidate must possess 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in mechanical and electrical components of large industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
 Perform maintenance and modifications to electrical fixtures, circuit breakers, control equipment, electrical conduit applications, and other machines and furnaces utilizing test equipment to ensure safe operations.
 Install or rebuild various plant equipment and machinery.
 Diagnose problems, disassemble and assess the extent of repairs needed, repair, replace or refit worn or damaged parts.
 Take apart, relocate, and reassemble special purpose equipment and machinery while maintaining accuracy, alignment, and balance.
 Create machine foundation, lay and anchor equipment and machinery.
 Perform other duties as directed by the plant demands and production schedules.
Required Skills
 Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and follow instructions.
 Basic knowledge of all phases of industrial electrical systems, transformers, motors, generators, drive equipment, and maintenance/millwright skills.
 Basic understanding of welding, pipe fitting, machining, and other trade skills along with knowledge of shop mathematics.
Education
Preferred – An Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronic Degree, or related field.
Required – High School Diploma.
Candidates with relevant electronic mechanical repair work experience in manufacturing and some education will also be considered.
