Job Title: Mail Sorter

:
We are looking for a Mail Sorter to join our team and help us with sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. As a Mail Sorter, you will be responsible for organizing and preparing all types of mail (letters, packages, and parcels) for delivery to their proper recipients. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who is able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and correct incorrect addresses and postage errors
  • Verify addresses and postage rates to ensure accurate delivery
  • Ensure all mail is processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Keep records of all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Collect and process outgoing mail, packages, and parcels
  • Comply with all postal regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and parcels

Requirements:
  • Clean background check
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or packages
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with postal regulations and sorting procedures is a plus, but not required
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Working Schedule and Compensation:

The Mail Sorter will work from 8am to clean desk on Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, and have the other 3 days off. During the training period, the operator will receive a payment of $14 per hour. After training, the operator will be paid on a per-piece rate basis between $12 and $18 per hour, based on productivity and accuracy levels.
