Job Description
MedSource National is seeking a Mail Document Processor for our Garden City, NY office.


The Mail Document Processor is responsible for preparing incoming and outgoing mail with finesse! You will use hand or mail handling machines to time stamp, open, read, sort, and scan incoming mail; and address, seal, stamp, fold, stuff, and affix postage to outgoing mail or packages.


This role is a full time position with a standard Monday-Friday 900am-530pm schedule.

  • Performs clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, document scanning, document uploading to web portals and faxing as needed.
  • Valid NY Driver’s License and a reliable automobile for daily post office runs is preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Run the completed mail through postage machine.
  • Preparing and sending out mail.
  • Must possess knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
  • Must have a full understanding of HIPPA regulations and compliance.
  • Protects examinee rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Responsible for operating mailing system (inserter and postage machine) to include
  • Promotes effective and efficient utilization of resources and supplies.
  • Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel, and Internet browsers.
  • Responsible for processing and mailing/shipping company documents for several business units to include
  • Run certified mail through the postage machine.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Scanning mail and uploading to FTP.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Load the letter inserter for production and ensure all jobs are successful.
  • Opening and sorting incoming mail.
