Under the direction of the manager and in association with the radiologists, the MRI technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice. The MRI technologist must be able to work independently in that department. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus. The shift is 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an MRI accredited school or a graduate of an accredited radiology school.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• If the individual does not have Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer qualifications) license, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• If the individual has Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer qualifications) license, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS.

• Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
