Currently we have a Lube Technician open with our Mid-Atlantic location in Ashland Virginia.

Summary

Perform preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment such as checking and/or changing fluids, changing filters, grease bearings, etc., and advising the customer of any service repairs needed.

1. Lubricates moving parts, filter changes, oil changes, etc., of construction equipment per preventative maintenance schedule.

2. Communicate to Service Manager any problems or issues found that extend beyond the scope of the original maintenance work order for further service repairs.

3. Ensure that all required materials, parts, tools, and supplies necessary to complete the maintenance is ordered and obtained.

4. Ensure that all parts and materials not used for the service are returned to the shop per established guidelines.

5. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines necessary during work processes and ensure work area is properly cleaned upon completion.

6. Document and maintain proper records of time spent on each service, parts and materials used, and detailed descriptions of work performed.

7. Provide labor hours daily to the Service Manager or Branch Administrator to ensure timely posting of hours to the appropriate work orders.

8. Ensure that the service truck is properly maintained in good working condition and appearance.

9. Maintain personal appearance in a neat and professional manner (within the context of the working environment)

10. Ensure to be professional in communicating with customers and coworkers.

11. Participate in other job duties assigned.

High School

1 year of work experience as a lubrication technician with an automotive center, commercial truck, farm equipment, and or heavy equipment
