We are seeking a Mobile Equipment Servicer (Lube Tech), with progressive opportunity to promote to Automotive Technician (Car Care Center) within six months.
The successful candidate must complete a minimum of one required ASE certification within six months of hire date for promotion to the Automotive Technician position. Study materials available, and exam fee(s) reimbursed with a passing grade.

Daily tasks include provide automotive service and repair for our Military patrons and their families. So, what does it take to succeed?
o Performs the full range of duties in connection with the servicing of vehicles and mobile equipment and performs minor maintenance work
o Checks oil and water levels, tire pressure, anti-freeze and advises customer on finding
o Rotates, repairs and replaces tube and tubeless tires
o Inspects front end of vehicles for proper alignment and worn ball joints,
The Qualifiers:
o One year of knowledge and ability to perform a full range of duties in connection with the servicing of vehicles and mobile equipment and performing minor maintenance work.
o Is required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring or uncomfortable positions.
o Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
o Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
o Must possess a valid state driver’s license and pass a pre-employment and federal criminal & motor vehicle background check.
o HazMat training required within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE One year of experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of performing a variety of duties in connection with the servicing of vehicles such as dispensing gasoline motor oil and additives checking oil and water levels tire pressure anti-freeze etc.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE One year of high school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience up to a High School Diploma or GED for one year of general experience.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE One year of experience that provided the knowledge and ability to perform a full range of duties in connection with the servicing of vehicles and mobile equipment and performing minor maintenance work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Stands works and climbs on vehicles to check oil and water. Occasional heavy lifting required in handling cans and drums of petroleum products. Some bending reaching and working in awkward positions when performing work in lube pits or under car racks.
