Your role at Clorox:

The primary objective of this position is to lead projects and execute change. The Logistics Project Manager (LPM) acts as primary liaison between leadership teams and project teams. The LPM is a generalist in logistics practices with the ability to represent the Logistics sub functions of customer service, transportation, customer supply chain and DC Operations.

In this role, you will:

Leads projects from initiation (charter) through technical transfer to base operations. Organizes the cross-functional activities and communicates timelines to deliver project/product on schedule, on budget and within charter constraints. Challenges team assumptions for clarity and congruency. Pushes leadership teams to make key decisions in a timely manner.


The position requires broad, practical knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations and strong Project Management experience and skills with a minimum of 7-10 years of appropriate functional experience. This professional will be assertive and diplomatic, self directing, able to manage up and down the organization without authority, willing to hold others accountable The scope of this position can include initiatives in US and Canada logistics.


  • Teaches logistics concepts to other members of the Project Solutions Group to promote and increase cross functional knowledge and improve overall results of the work group.
  • Reduce execution times and costs through effective management of resources, clear communication, and coordination with operations and business teams.
  • Provides Logistics input to feasibility assessments for business and functional initiatives.
  • Supports continuous improvement in team performance through development and use of tools, processes and best practices.
  • Plan project activities, develop and communicate the project timeline, set key milestones, run project meetings, etc. Deliver agreed-to project objectives on time and within cost.
  • Additional responsibilities:
  • May lead projects outside of logistics on occasion.
  • Influence leadership teams with facts, data analysis and critical assessments.
  • This role will have travel up to 20%
  • Communicate with decision-makers and key partners on decisions needed, updates, project status, risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Leads chartered logistics operations projects that are complex, cross functional and/or international from initiation to execution and transfer to base operations.


What we look for:

  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, listening and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in logistics, business management or technical field is preferred
  • Multi logistics discipline experience and a strong background in business process and project leadership is preferred
  • 2 years project management experience
  • 5 years Logistics experience in one or more of the key disciplines (Transportation, Customer Service, DC Ops or Customer Supply Chain)
  • 7 years Logistics experience in one or more of the key disciplines (Transportation, Customer Service, DC Ops or Customer Supply Chain) is preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • 3 years project management experience is preferred

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100

–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300

–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
