Trillium Technical is now seeking a Logistics Engineer for work in Fayetteville!
This position is responsible for improving distribution center processes and helping shape the future of our supply chain.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.This role will oversee the identification and implementation of initiatives to reduce operating expenses within supply chain by applying traditional engineering techniques (for example, work measurements, root-cause analysis, time and motion studies, and create sustainable process improvements).Collaborate with key cross-functional teams to align resources and identify priorities.Partner with key vendors to identify and implement appropriate technologies.Review presentation material for project ideas and designs prior to senior leadership approval.Change is frequent, the pace is fast, and expectations continuously rise.
You’ll make an impact through the following job functions:
• Automation Integration: Bringing a new automation into the Distribution Center.
• Project Management: Work with teams to measure and manage multi-faceted projects. Lead implementation plans, establish success criteria, calculate cost estimates, and status updates.
• Operational Excellence: Promoting a healthy, safe, and productive culture that focuses on winning.
• Business Acumen: Understand the business processes, develop business cases, and own project activity.
• Data and Digital Literacy: Leverage data analysis tools to explore complex data, develop and test hypotheses, use data to influence strategic work, and build and present insights with visualization tools.
• Partnership: Engage with team members regularly, establish credibility, and take a “one team” approach to accomplish goals.
• Influence: Organize thoughts and communicate confidently, credibly, and concisely.
• Judgment: Actively listen to others, seek constructive feedback, utilize relevant data to articulate results, and provide recommendations in a structured manner.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties and project work as assigned.

Qualifications• Education: B.S. in Engineering or higher from an accredited institution, required. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, strongly preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or Automation Engineering experience in a distribution center environment, required.
