The logistics clerk is responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as preparing items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products. Rotating weekend shift coverage is expected.

1st Shift M-F 6am - 2:30pm

$19.00 Hourly

Essential Functions:

• Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
• Other duties may apply.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Able to use Excel, word and outlook.
• Working with computer systems: Airtable, Flexnet and SAP, etc.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.

1+ year Experience in warehouse environment with heavy data entry. Experience in warehouse processes and flows and shipping and receiving. (Required)

1+ year Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. (Required)

1+ year Forklift Experience (Preferred)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the pay rate for this position, which is $19.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/quarterly bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
