Position Description: Summary:
This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate to all parties within the company of tracking numbers when shipping items
Takes photos of damaged goods a list on bill of ladings when necessary
Gather and package all parts and materials and prepare to ship via desired carrier
Communicate with management as needed
Deliver all delivered packages to necessary parties
Audit all deliveries are 100% and sort deliveries when needed
Communicate with shipping when shipments are incomplete
Scan in all receiving paperwork after items have been received
Communicate with parts were ordered incorrectly or with the wrong part number to necessary parties
Other tasks/assignments as assigned by Production Manager
Overtime is mandatory when requested
Maintain stock of parts, communicate when you are running low
Follow all policies and procedures especially those in safety

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office, manual scanner, and calculator. May require pre-employment assessment test as well.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Minimum 5 years verifiable shipping experience in warehouse/manufacturing setting
$18 - $21 / Hour
