Job Summary：

• The position is expected to perform the specified job duties within the allotted time, within the quality standards and prescribed methods.
• Responsible for the accurate completion of any and all shipping and receiving tasks including but not limited to: Oracle interaction to receive and ship, packaging, cleaning, and sorting parts, and material handling.
• This position is expected to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the needs of the Materials, production and/ or other departments.
• Process Domestic and International shipments using OTM shipping software and other systems such as FedEx online. Prepares proper paperwork and documentation for shipments.
• Tasks will vary by work area and work assignments will change based on business demands, routine Job rotations will be required to support the Safety, Quality and Productivity Objectives
• Responsible for participating in all aspects of shipping and receiving. The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and speed. Position reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry, processing and reporting with Oracle system
• Follow and adhere to all safety, quality and Trane Technologies policies and procedures.
• Thinks creatively and suggests process improvements to management
• Picks, packs, and processes outgoing shipments in a proficient, safe and efficient manner
• Material handling of parts and containers including loading and unload trucks
• Maintaining the work area for cleanliness, orderliness and efficiency standards
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet for length of time
• Uses scales, counting equipment and printers
• Actively contributing to Safety, Quality and Productivity activities and improvements
• Enter data in Oracle systems, fill in forms, etc.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries
• Receives, inspects, validate and processes incoming shipments
• Comfortable to work independently and as a team member to identify, improve, troubleshoot and take ownership for results
• Organizes and priorities workload, working within tight deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned or required including but not limited to;
• Manage the shipping and receiving process
• Performs checks and inspection of items
• Rotate job duties, cross train

Qualifications:

• Able to juggle many different tasks/ responsibilities with ease
• High level of professionalism and organized
• High school diploma
• Good attendance and performance work history
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems
• Basic computer skills. Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• 1 -2 years experience as a shipping and receiving clerk, preferably in manufacturing
• 18 years or older
• Attention to detail
• Experience with FedEx
• Good communication skills
• Motived self-starter that can productively work alone and in teams/groups to solve problems and get work done
• Basic math skills
• Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime on an as needed/required basis in order to complete work in process and communicate with other shifts
• Quick learner

Key Competencies:

• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone. Mobility within the work facility.

• Ability to stand 8 - 10 hours Daily
• 1st Shift Monday thru Thursday from 06:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Fridays as required
• Ability to lift 40+Lbs repeatably through the shift
• Ability to bend, lift, reach and turn throughout the shift.
• Breaks are Formalized, Scheduled and regulated due to the interconnectivity of the assembly line
• Visual Accuity for aligning and determine proper alignment.
• Ability to move freely and have sufficient reflexes to perform the same tasks repeatedly.
• Ability to distinguish colors (Not color Blind) due to need to determine temperature visually
• This is a Drug Free Facility
