Job Overview

Responsible for loading trailers on the monorail to support production processes throughout the trailer manufacturing process, including assembly, positioning, and transport between workstations.

Job Responsibilities

• Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Clean-up work area daily.
• Avoid swinging the load or hook.
• Secure attachment of the unit to suitable support before applying the load
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Warn other personnel of an approaching load.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Verify the load is balanced and load holding action secure before lifting.
• Ensure proper sizing of load slings or attachments.
• Be familiar with operating controls, procedures, and warnings.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
• Confirm all personnel are clear of the supported load.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required
• Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure
• Willingness to learn and dependable work ethic.
