Job Description
Position: Live-out Nanny / Family Assistant
Schedule: Mon. – Fri. (2pm – 7:30pm) with flexibility to work additional hours as needed
Location: Greenwich, CT
Salary: $30-35/hour

Overview
Active family of four is seeking a bright, seasoned, and energetic live-out Nanny/Family Assistant to assist with the care and development of their 2 children (ages 10 & 8). The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the children’s care, including, without limitation, driving the children to and from school and various activities, and general organization of playrooms and toys. Candidates must also be dog-friendly.

This role is perfect for an individual with a high level of emotional intelligence: warm, capable, happy, intuitive, knows when to ‘step in’ and ‘step out’ and anticipate needs. Seeking someone adaptable, flexible, and proactive with a positive "can-do" attitude.

Duties
  • Care for the children, keeping them healthy, safe, and nurturing their development
  • Drive children daily (school drop off & pickup, doctor’s appointments, play dates, etc.); Grocery shopping and miscellaneous child-related errands; Car will be provided
  • Dog care: help with food/water, let out as needed
  • Organize children’s rooms, play areas and belongings/accessories
  • Cooking for the children; variety of healthy recipes and leave kitchen tidy afterwards

Character
  • Very good communicator, both written and verbal
  • Energetic and a self-starter
  • Friendly, happy, intelligent, trustworthy, and proactive
  • Flexible, ability to adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances

Requirements
  • Excellent, stable work history and references
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Nanny caring for multiple children, preferably in the 8-13 year old age range
  • Unquestioned integrity and honesty
  • Fully vaccinated
  • Non-smoker
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
