Live-In Housekeeper Jobs

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning the KISS vision center and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors. Change linens, wash dishes, and do light ironing and laundry.
Must have 3+ years of experience as a Housekeeper and Laundress experience

• Flexible, responsible, respectful, trustworthy, hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes initiative to clean and manage a household
• The ideal candidate MUST have experience working in a large formal home
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, discreet, and professional
• Housekeeper is expected to ensure the home is kept organized, clean, and tidy

• Care for various arrangements including antiques, chandelier, custom furniture, carpets, drapes and museum quality artwork
• Polishing brass and silver, antiques and fine furniture
• General cleaning of the entire home (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning, taking out the trash, recycling, etc.)
• Sorting, washing, ironing, handwashing delicate, folding laundry and managing dry cleaning
• Ensure all household appliances are in working order
• Garments care/laundering, ironing/steaming
• Organize and keep an inventory of household supplies and items in storage
• Formal serving and table setting, as needed
• Pet care as needed
• Clean kitchen appliances (keeping refrigerator clean and up to date, oven, etc.)
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of all bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
• Hand washing dishes and using dishwashing machines
• Clean windows and doors (internal and external) and wipe down walls
• Ensure that groceries are always stocked

• Live-in housekeepers stay at the site from Monday to Friday.
