Apply Job Type Full-time, Part-time Description Job Summary: The Spokane Club's Housekeeping staff are responsible for cleaning the overnight guest rooms, hallways, and various other areas of the Club's hotel. Additional cross training may be required in the laundry facility or janitorial department to assist, as needed. Job Responsibilities: Daily cleaning of overnight hotel guest rooms including, but not limited to:

S/He is required to follow any other instructions and to perform other duties as required by the General Manager. Salary Description $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour
  • One year experience in hotel housekeeping preferred, but will train
  • Ensures clean luggage rack, ironing board, and iron are available in each room
  • Dusts all furniture and fixtures
  • Daily stocking of supply closets and housekeeping cart
  • Checks heating/air conditioning unit for proper operation and sets temperature
  • Positive attitude; attention to detail; takes pride and ownership in duties
  • Customer-service orientation to create an atmosphere of genuine care for members and guests and to provide a high level of personalized service
  • Empties wastebaskets and installs new liners
  • Vacuums rooms and hallways
  • Restocks drinkware, and other room amenities
  • Manual dexterity and ability to operate heavy equipment such as commercial grade carpet shampoo equipment
  • Climb ladders and work several feet off the ground as in vacuuming tall drapery
  • Cross-training with laundry and club attendant roles
  • Cleans and sanitizes bathroom including toilets, tiles, tub, shower walls and curtains, sink, and fixtures
  • Professional appearance always
  • Wipes mirrors, windows, coffee machine, and refrigerator
  • Bend, kneel, and reach overhead to move items
  • Restocks towels, wash cloths, soap, toilet paper, and other bathroom supplies
  • Checks lamps for burned out light bulbs
  • Work while standing and walking for most of shift
  • Wipes all windowsills, walls, baseboards, and light switches
  • Ability to think and act quickly, problem solve, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a helpful and poised demeanor
  • Push and pull equipment such as vacuum cleaners for extended periods of time
  • Other duties as assigned Compensation $16-$18 an hour Benefits Full-time employees and, optionally for additional cost, their families are able to enroll for coverage by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan after one year. Full-time employees will also accrue vacation based on hours work to a maximum of ten days per year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Requirements
